A wonderful Victorian Dinner Evening was held on the 27th November 2004. About 40 people attended. There was music, food and songs all provided by residents of the village. Sidney Buchs, Ann Pidgen and Ann Brophy cooked the food, whilst Helen Smith , Sue Sylvester Bradley and Ken Ireland provided the music. The Village Hall was bedecked in green and gold and many of those attending wore period dress, adding to the sense of occasion. A total of £238 was raised for the Village Hall, for which thanks.
